Composed as a gift to honor Priest in Charge, George Cleaves, and the congregation of Christ Episcopal Church of St. Joseph, Missouri. This coming November, George will have served this congregation and church for five years. Christ Episcopal Church has had a rich history of service and music since it was built in the heart of St. Joseph, Missouri in 1851. Recently, the church hosted a celebration to honor the 150th anniversary of their pipe organ that was built in 1867, making it one of the oldest pipe organs in the state of Missouri.

"Alleluia" is the second movement of the three-movement set 3 Songs of Praise. Movements 1 and 3 are still in development.
