Nacogdoches High School Choirs
Concert Choir, Bel Canto, Dragon Singers, Treble Choir

The Nacogdoches ISD Choir Program provides students with a vibrant and enriching environment to explore their love for music while developing strong vocal skills and artistic expression. Through regular rehearsals and performances, students engage with a wide range of musical styles—from classical to contemporary—under the guidance of dedicated choir directors who support their growth as musicians.

Choir classes offer opportunities for students to improve vocal technique, build confidence, express themselves creatively, and work collaboratively as part of a musical team. In addition to ensemble singing, students often participate in solo opportunities and gain valuable performance experience.

Choir students consistently shine in individual events, earning “Superior” ratings at Solo & Ensemble and securing spots in the Region 21 All-Region Choir each year. Throughout the year, each choir prepares repertoire for the fall and winter concerts, while the spring semester focuses on UIL Concert & Sight-Reading Evaluation, festivals, and a culminating spring concert. All students are welcome to join the NISD Choir Program—no previous experience is required. Whether you are new to singing or continuing your musical journey, our program offers a supportive and inspiring place to grow.
